Terms of use

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This page explains how QR Check-In handles data. The organisation that operates this deployment, usually your community's management, decides how it is used and is responsible for its legal notices.

The service

QR Check-In helps a residential community manage visitor access: residents issue guest passes, security guards verify them at the gate and administrators manage the community. It does not control gates or barriers; people make the final decision.

Accounts

Accounts are created by invitation. Keep your password private and do not share your account. Tell your community administrator straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Residents

Invite only people you expect, enter information about them accurately and keep it to what the gate needs. Share a QR pass only with the guest it is for, and revoke it if plans change.

Security guards

Choose the correct mode before each scan and follow the verdict. When the scanner shows “Unable to verify — access not granted”, do not admit the guest on the strength of the pass.

Administrators

Give each person only the role and access they need, disable accounts that are no longer used, and handle exports and audit records with care.

Availability

The service is designed to refuse access rather than guess when it cannot verify a pass. Your community should keep a procedure for times when the service or the network is unavailable.

Changes

These terms may change when the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
